The invitations will
be accepted on a first come first served basis for 400 invitations
The most popular Canadian immigration in-occupation stream
of Saskatchewan Immigration Program (SINP) was open for the applications on
June 7, 2018. The government of Saskatchewan announced that the international
skilled worker occupation is open on a periodical basis and accepted 400
applications in this intake. The program was closed on the same day.
The applications under the International Skilled
worker-occupations in-demand sub category are received on a first-come, first
served basis.
Thus, SINP does not require a candidate to be in the federal
Express Entry pool. However, to be eligible an applicant must score minimum 60
points out of 100 in the Saskatchewan immigration point assessment grid. Additionally,
applying to this sub-category an applicant does not require a job-offer letter
to submit an application.
The previous intake that took place on August 2, 2017
introduced nee in-demand occupations list of 35 eligible occupations and it
took in 1200 applications within one day.
The popular program is expected to get closed again quickly by accepting
only 400 applications.
Therefore, Saskatchewan in-demand occupations stream has an
entirely separate application procedure for submitting an application for
permanent residence.
Due to the vast popularity of the program and limited number
of applications acceptance, this stream closes really fast. Thus, it is
extremely important to prepare your application well in advance to avoid any
last minute rush. Source Link
