The office of Immigration of Prince Edward Island issued 135
invitations to apply in its 5th draw that was conducted on June 22,
2018. The Invitations are given for its two impact categories.
Under Business Impact Category, 43 Business applicants were
invited to apply with a score range of 140-157.
Under Labour Impact Category, 60 labour candidates were
invited to apply Under Express Entry, 32 applicants were invited to apply
that are already working in the province of Prince Edward Island.
The applicants who want to apply for Canadian Permanent
residence through PEI Express Entry must create an Express Entry profile in the
PEI expression of Interest System. Furnish all the relevant documents and score
eligible points out of 100 on PEI assessment grid. The points are calculated
for age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability,
adaptability etc.
Those applicants who have the skills and experience in the
occupation that is in demand in PEI Labour market can apply under Labour Impact
category. This category has three streams –Skilled Workers, Critical workers,
