Canada Express Entry draw invites 3750 applicants with a CRS score of 504

On September 28, 2022, Canada hosted its most recent all-program Express Entry draw. Ever since they started up again on July 6, this was the seventh all-program draw.

3,750 applicants with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 504 received invites from IRCC. Invitations were sent to qualified applicants from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), all programs that use the Express Entry system, as this was an all-program draw.

This draw is the third in a row when there were 500 more invites sent out than in the previous round. 3,250 candidates were invited to the September 14 draw, while 2,750 were invited to the August 31 draw. The CRS is likewise at its lowest level since all-program drawings have restarted. Since the CRS scores peaked at 557 on July 6, they have been gradually declining. Scores dropped by eight or nine points for each of the first five draws. Only six points were lost in the draw on September 14; the same was true for this week.

Due to a backlog of applications brought on by COVID-19-related travel limitations, all Express Entry program draws were put on hold for more than 18 months beginning in December 2020. Only applicants from the CEC or Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received invitations to apply throughout the hiatus. The IRCC also stopped holding lotteries for the CEC in September 2021.

The table depicts the latest express entry draw:

The backlog is shrinking

According to data recently issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), between July and August 31, the backlog for all applications fell from 2.7 million to 2.6 million. The quantity of Express Entry applications waiting to be processed will also decrease as a result.

There were 51,616 people in the Express Entry database as of the end of July. That number was down to 40,180 as of August 31—a drop of more than 10,000 applications in roughly six weeks.

Check Express Entry Ponts Here

The majority of the applications currently in the inventory are from PNP applicants. This is significant since certain PNPs, also known as enhanced nominations, are compatible with Express Entry schemes. The backlog of applications under enhanced PNPs has diminished, according to IRCC. However, there has been a rise in PNP applications from people who submit their requests to the respective province governments directly (base PNPs).

Through Express Entry programs, Canada has extended invitations to 28,039 immigrants so far in 2022. This relates to Canada's objective of welcoming 432,000 new immigrants by the end of this year under the Immigration Levels Plan 2022–2024. As of now, it seems like Canada will achieve this goal since more than 300,000 newcomers from all industries have been welcomed.

Job openings at an all-time high One of the reasons Canada has such high immigration goals, including those for Express Entry programs, is the 5.7% job vacancy rate at the moment. The greatest group of Canadians in the working age population, the baby boomers, will soon approach retirement age and there will be an even greater scarcity of trained workers.

Express Entry will change in 2023 in response to the labour shortage. Soon, the IRCC will have the power to grant ITAs to applicants who have particular educational backgrounds, professional backgrounds, or language skills and who are well-suited to support the Canadian economy and labour force. Because there may be targeted draws that give other characteristics greater weight, this adjustment will have an impact on how important a high CRS is for candidates.

Describe Express Entry

The Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program all use Express Entry as their applicant management system. Candidates for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the Express Entry pool are already qualified for at least one of these schemes.

The Comprehensive Ranking Method (CRS), a points-based system used by Express Entry, ranks candidate profiles. The highest-scoring applicants are given an Invitation to Apply (ITA), after which they can submit a permanent residency application.

After the candidate submits the application, an IRCC representative reviews it before reaching a determination. In addition to requesting biometrics, the officer could schedule an interview or ask for other paperwork. The applicant will then be a permanent resident of Canada and one step closer to obtaining Canadian citizenship if this is successful.

Canada to end all COVID 19 travel restrictions from 1st October - Aptech Visa

No longer will travellers need to utilize the ArriveCan app or provide proof of immunization to enter Canada. The Canadian government has announced that beginning of October 1, 2022, no passenger would be required to use the ArriveCan app.

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer be required to: contribute public health data via the ArriveCAN app or website;

  • Present vaccination documentation;
  • Submit to testing prior to or upon arrival;
  • Implement COVID-19-related quarantine or isolation;
  • Watch for and report any COVID-19 symptoms or indicators once they arrive in Canada.

Identify Your Canadian Immigration Eligibility

Additionally, masks won't be required on Canadian trains or aeroplanes. As per PHAC, Canada's high immunization rates, low hospitalization, and passing rates, as well as the accessibility and utilization of antibody sponsors, are the fundamental justifications for why travel limitations have been lifted. The public authority proceeds to firmly encourage voyagers to utilize covers and appropriately take a look at their wellbeing.

According to Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, "We have reached the stage where we can safely relax the sanitary precautions at the border thanks in large part to Canadians who have rolled up their sleeves to get immunized." However, we anticipate that COVID-19 and other respiratory infections will continue to spread during the chilly months, therefore I urge everyone to maintain current COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, and to practice personal public health measures.

ArriveCan is going away.

Travellers travelling from abroad will no longer be required to download the ArriveCan app. Travellers won't have to upload their itinerary and immunization documentation to the app to show CBSA agents anymore.

There are no prerequisites for domestic travel.

In response to the global outlook on the COVID-19 pandemic, this news was anticipated. As more individuals get immunized and the virus shifts from being a pandemic to being endemic, like the common cold, the number of cases has been declining.

Since last June, Canada has waived the immunization requirements for both domestic and international travel. Government representatives said at the time that the suspension of those vaccination requirements was a result of the improved public health situation, with 90% of Canadians already having received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been over 612 million COVID-19 cases reported globally and over six million fatalities. These figures are probably higher because so many people avoid testing or other forms of diagnosis.

Immigration initiatives in Manitoba

The MPNP manages Manitoba's immigration programs and assists with immigration applications to the federal government. Although Canadian regions cannot grant exceptionally long-term resident status, they can expedite an application by assigning routine tasks.

To be nominated by Manitoba, you must submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP. You can next use the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Abroad programs to apply for an LAA.

Then, based on their connections to the region and many aspects of their human resources, Manitoba assigns competitors a score out of 1,000.

Using the streams for Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas, the province can discover persons who match the demands of its labour market.

Candidates from outside Manitoba should demonstrate ties to the area, such as close family ties, prior employment experience there, or a letter from one of Manitoba's crucial enrolment initiatives. You don't have to live in Manitoba at the time of application to be eligible.

You cannot apply under the category of Skilled Workers in Manitoba unless you have a full-time job offer from a provincial company.

International graduates who complete their examinations in Manitoba might be welcomed under the Global Schooling Stream in the event that they can demonstrate that they have abilities that are popular.

Utilize the Manitoba PNP Points Calculator to determine your Express Entry score.

The Canadian permanent residency application management system known as Express Entry is used for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

You can skip the PNP process and get an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residency by completing an Express Entry application.

Having a provincial nomination does, however, all but guarantee that Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada will urge you to apply for Canadian permanent residence given the 600-point incentive.

When you submit your profile, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which considers factors including your age, work experience, education, and language proficiency among others, assigns you a ranking.

The top-scoring candidates receive invitations to submit applications for permanent residence through routine Express Entry draws.

You must first submit a profile to the Express Entry pool in order to ask Manitoba to nominate you for a provincial position.

Do you plan to apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) in 2022?

If you want to apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) in 2022 in order to get Canadian permanent residency, you should seek the aid of a legitimate, licensed immigration specialist to help you draft your application.

What is an Expression of Interest (EOI) in Saskatchewan?

Saskatchewan PNP applications are distinct from SK EOI submissions. Instead, a pre-application is required, which interested candidates can do online to show off their credentials and expertise as well as to indicate that they are interested in applying for the Saskatchewan PNP and relocating there.

What is the EOI System's mechanism?

The Saskatchewan PNP points grid will be used to rank all of the eligible applicants, and your profile will then be placed in the Saskatchewan pool. Candidates with higher scores will have a greater chance of receiving a Saskatchewan PNP invitation ITA.

Your Saskatchewan Points Can Be Calculated Here

Let's say you get an invitation to apply to Saskatchewan PNP (SINP). The SINP invitation is valid for exactly 60 days after getting the SK PNP invitation or two months. You must now submit the required paperwork along with the application fee.
