Manitoba PNP Invited 336 applicants in the recent draw conducted on 26 January 2023

On January 26, Manitoba's Provincial Nomination Program issued invitations to 336 candidates. The main highlights of the draw are as followed

  • 253 LAA issued to Skilled Workers in Manitoba with a minimum CRS score of 726
  • 23 LAA issued to Skilled Workers Overseas with a minimum CRS score of 713.
  • 60 LAA issued for the International Education Stream with no minimum grade required.

How to apply for Manitoba PNP from India?

To apply to Manitoba PNP from India you need to follow Manitoba Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. It has two pathways under Manitoba PNP consists of two pathways:

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway

For those who are qualified under another MPNP stream and have a current Express Entry profile, there is this pathway. Additionally, these individuals must be well-connected to Manitoba and have experience in one of the professions on Manitoba's list of in-demand occupations. What is the processing time of the Manitoba PNP?

Processing Time for Manitoba PNP is around 6 months to a maximum of 12 months.

Minimum Requirements For Manitoba PNP :

  • Must have a minimum score of 60 on the points assessment grid;
  • Must have a link to Manitoba, such as support from friends or family who reside there, past job experience or study in the province, or must receive an invitation to apply from the MPNP. Depending on the sort of connection you use, there are extra requirements.
  • You need to have worked in a profession in demand for at least six months;
  • Must be 18 years old or older;
  • Must present a comprehensive Career Plan.

What is the Manitoba PNP process?

You must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). You must therefore answer a set of online questions as a result. You'll be given a score based on your responses.

The top-scoring applicants can then be requested to submit an MPNP application.

In the event that you triumph, Manitoba will nominate you for provincial office. You can then use this nomination to submit a new application for permanent residency for you and your family to the Canadian federal government. This can be done using the Express Entry system if you are a candidate for it.

PEI PNP Latest Draw Invites 223 Candidates

One of the Canadian PNPs, Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) held a draw as per the displayed draw schedule for this year 2023. In this draw held on January 19, 2023, PEI PNP issued 223 Invitations for the applicants willing to go to PEI. Which 216 invitations are distributed to Express Entry and Labor Category, and 7 invitations are sent to individuals from Business Work Permit Entrepreneur who met the minimum requirement of 62 points. In the previous draw, 134 people received invitations from PEI PNP which shows that this draw has been conducted with a rising number of invitations issued to the people.

Express Entry Draw Invites 5,500 on declined 490 CRS Score

After conducting the first draw of the year 2023. Express Entry held the draw for just 8 days. In this conducted draw 5,500 Invitations are issued to the applicants with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 490 from Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Candidates from Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class(CEC), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were eligible for this round of invitations with the requirements.

As per the last draw now IRCC has decreased the score from 17 points and the number of ITAs given is 5,500 same as the last one. 

IRCC ranks candidates in the pool using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The highest-ranking Candidates are selected from the pool and invited to apply for permanent residence (PR).

Alberta PNP Draw invites 129 applicants having 305 CRS

On December 8, 2022, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) sent out 129 invitations to submit applications for provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry Stream. Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 305, which is significantly lower than the last draw’s requirement of 473 (which was July 29).


Candidates must already be in the Express Entry pool and have significant ties to Alberta, such as a family member who currently resides in Alberta or a work offer, in order to be eligible for provincial nomination under Alberta’s Express Entry stream. They must also have a long-term plan to reside there.



Streams for workers Alberta Opportunity Stream for qualified people who are already employed in an Alberta-eligible occupation.

The Alberta General Express Entry Stream is available to EE applicants who have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 300 and are already employed in an eligible profession.

The Express Entry stream’s Alberta Accelerated Tech Pathway accepts applications from those who are employed in the province’s 38 designated technology-related occupations or who have received employment offers from those industries.

Rural Renewal Stream, which is open to applicants who have received a job offer from an Alberta employer to work in a rural Alberta community.

Alberta Opportunity Stream

How to Apply?

The Alberta Opportunity Stream requires applicants to submit their applications online using the AAIP web portal. Following that, candidates will be required to pay the online application cost and submit particular documentation based on their unique circumstances.

Eligibility requirement for Alberta PNP’s Alberta Opportunity Stream: 
Must have a valid work visa;

Must be employed in an appropriate Albertan occupation that corresponds to your work experience;

A minimum level of 4 or 5 on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB), depending on the occupation

A high school diploma or equivalent;

At least 24 months of job experience in Canada during the past 30 months, or at least 12 months of work experience in Alberta over the past 18 months.

Alberta Express Entry Stream

The Alberta Express Entry Stream is invitation-only and operates in this manner. A Notification of Interest (NOI) in the federal system from the Alberta government may be sent to candidates who have Express Entry profiles. The province will then have a limited amount of time to hear from invited candidates regarding their interest in being considered for selection under this stream.


The AAIP will ask candidates to submit the necessary paperwork through the AAIP online portal in order to apply for provincial nomination if they are chosen.

Eligibility requirement for Alberta Express Entry stream overall CRS score of at least 300 is required;

Engage in a job that contributes to Alberta’s economic development and diversification;

Be in the Express Entry pool;

Have shown interest in emigrating to Alberta permanently.

BC PNP latest draw invites around 192 applicants on 17th January 2023.

On January 17, 2023, British Columbia sent out approximately 192 invitations to applicants in a general draw that included tech occupations and a targeted draw.

Candidates for the categories of International Graduates and Skilled Workers received invites, as well as Express Entry applicants.


Out of 192 applicants, 154 were selected in the General and Technical Draw with scores ranging from 105 for Skilled Workers (Including EEBC Option) and International Graduates (including EEBC). While only 82 points were required for entry-level and semi-skilled workers.





Candidates in the following professions were also invited to rounds of interviews by the province.15 healthcare workers from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, including Express Entry category, with scores of at least 60 points;

Early childhood educators and aides (NOC 42202) with at least 60 points;

Jobs with scores of at least 60 points in other in-demand professions.

How to apply for BC PNP through Express Entry?

  • Eligibility requirements full-time job offer must have been accepted,
  • A federal Express Entry profile must be active, and
  • A Job Seeker Validation Code must be obtained from the system (except for the International Post-Graduate Category) you must:
  • Have a wage offer that is in line with B.C. wage rates;
  • Be able to support yourself and your family;
  • Speak at least one language fluently;
  • Meet any additional requirements that are specific to your category;
  • And your employer must also be eligible (except for the International Post-Graduate Category).

How to apply for BC PNP as a Skilled Worker?


Eligibility Requirements:

The following requirements must be met: Must have accepted a full-time work offer for a TEER 4 or 5 position (except the international post-graduate category);

Must have a salary offer that is in conformity with the province wage rates (apart from the international post-graduate category);

You must demonstrate your ability to provide for your family and yourself (with the exception of the International Post-Graduate Category);

For the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category, you must:

Meet any additional requirements unique to your category;

Meet the minimum language requirements (for TEER 2, 3, 4, or 5 ((CLB) level 4 in all competencies));

Your employer must also meet the eligibility requirements (except for the International Post-Graduate Category).

BC PNP conducts first tech draw on the 10th Jan, 2023

This was the second BC PNP Draw of the year 2023 in the month of January. If we observe the last two draws conducted by BC PNP, we can predict the BC PNP 2023 draw is likely to be conducted once every week.


BC PNP is the first PNP to conduct the draw in 2023. While the previous draw conducted on 4th January 2023 was for the General NOCs and Targeted NOCs this draw was for the targeted tech NOCs and other targeted occupations where 123 tech applicants were given the invitation to apply with the minimum score of 90 points whereas fewer than 5 individuals were called for NOC 42202 with the minimum score of 60. 17 invites were shared for the Healthcare professionals having a minimum score of 60 and who meet the eligibility criteria for BC PNP and fewer than 5 applicants were given invitations from other priority occupations.
