Professionals in the fields of technology, childcare, and healthcare have been asked to participate in a new BC PNP draw.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held its weekly round draw on June 7th, 2022. The subcategories of Skilled Worker International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled received invitations to the draw.
In the targeted draw, 125 British Columbia immigrants were encouraged to seek a provincial nomination, which included a tech category. A total of 16 nominations were filed for the targeted NOC for Childcare: Early Childhood Educators and Assistants, which got less than 5 invites (NOC 4214).

Invitations can be modified to meet specific BC government objectives, such as assisting certain economic sectors, increasing regional immigration, supporting strategic pilot initiatives, and ensuring programme integrity.
Candidates who are most likely to satisfy the economic and labour market demands of British Columbia will be ranked, selected, and invited based on the information supplied in their registrations. For the IT worker draw, a minimum score of 85 was necessary, while for healthcare and childcare workers, a minimum score of 60 was required.
