A new express entry draw was conducted on
28th November inviting 3900 candidates set to receive ITA
(Invitation to Apply) from the Canadian Government. The applicants with CRS 445
were given invitations.
This year invitation rounds bring the total
of 82,000 invitations. The minimum CRS was 445 a decrease of four points over
the previous Express Entry draw held on November 15 had a minimum CRS 449.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) is only 4,024 ITAs away from breaking the previous year
immigration record and there is still a month to go in 2018.
Due to high number of visa applications
with CRS 445 were in the pool, a tie-break rule was applied in this latest
invitation round where the tie-break date was October 22, 2018 and tie- break
time was 14:40:13 UTC. This means that applicants who have submitted their
profile before October 22, 2018 at 14:40:13 UTC having CRS 445 received an ITA
in this round.
The draw occurred less than two weeks that
is likely to contribute towards minimum CRS fall of four points. If this trend
continues, there are good chances of CRS falling further leading to more ITAs.
Under Canada’s updated multi-level
immigration level plans, IRCC has 2018 admissions target for its Federal High
Skilled Immigration Category set at 74,700 new permanent residents. The majority
of the applicants applying for permanent resident status process their
application through the Express Entry System.
The immigration levels plan for 2019-21 has
outlined Canada’s commitment to increase the numbers accepted through the
Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled
Trade Class to around 256,000 over the next three years. Visit Source Link http://bit.ly/2ZjBoJg for more details.
