The Canadian Government kicked off the
first new Express Entry draw on January 10, 2019 in an impressive way by
issuing 3,900 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence with CRS
449 and above.
The highest numbers of invitations are
issued in the first draw of the year making way for the large number of
invitations in the coming draw cycle. It is expected to see Immigration,
Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) break last year’s Express Entry record
of 89,800 Invitation to Apply (ITAs).
The Canada’s new multi-year immigration
levels plan, the federal government will welcome more Federal High Skilled
Applicants in 2019 than it did last year. The government of Canada has set a
target of 81,400 through the programs compared to 74,900 last year.
The latest draw conducted by IRCC applied
tie-break rule for inviting migrants under Express Entry. The break even date
and time were January 2, 2019 at 11:40:53 UTC. This means that all the
candidates who have submitted their profile before the said date and time with
CRS 449 and above were invited in this current invitation draw.
To meet the new targets of 2019 and 2020,
it is expected that IRCC will issue more ITAs over the course of this year. The
previous draw size was increased from 2750 ITAs to 3,900.
If the similar pattern continues, the draw
size 3900 ITAs could remain constant or grow larger that might affect the
minimum score if the draws are conducted on regular basis.Visit Source Link https://bit.ly/2H6QqdF for more details.
