Manitoba Issued New 523 Letters of Advice to Apply for Provincial Nomination


The government of Manitoba Province conducted new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on 5th December 2018. The province issued 523 letters of advice to apply for the provincial nomination.

This is the 54th draw of Manitoba province where 213 skilled workers in Manitoba were issued letters of advice with the lowest ranking score of 375 points. 


On the other hand, skilled workers overseas were also issued letters of advice to apply. There were 62 applicants who got MPNP directly under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.  This initiative consists of recruitment missions where provincial representatives conduct interviews outside the country. The applicants who meet the eligibility requirements are issued letters of advice. The applicants with the lowest ranking score of 711 were invited to apply for provincial nomination. 

 Meanwhile, the other 255 overseas migrants under skilled workers overseas were also issued letters of advice to apply provided the applicant has valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code, and at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list or a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience, at least 6 months of recent work experience in the occupation that is in-demand. 


The overseas migrants with the lowest ranking score of 596 were invited to apply.


The selected candidates have 60 days to submit a complete application for provincial nomination to the province of Manitoba.
