Which is best category to apply for a Canada visa if I have close relatives in Manitoba, MNPN or Express Entry?

The Manitoba Nomination Program (MNP) is the only program where you are directly eligible for a permanent residence visa if your relative is staying/settled there. Manitoba is known as the first province to launch its own immigration program. MNP is the famous immigration program as its only requirement is presence of a relative anywhere in Manitoba. Areas of Vancouver, Winnipeg have most of the Indian families settled. And that is why, its third official language is Punjabi, after English and French.

I suggest you to apply for Manitoba Nomination Program instead of Express Entry Program as you need to meet the extra eligibility criteria as demanded by express entry system, which includes a high IELTS band requirement and a decent work experience. But in case of Manitoba, no such requirement is there and you can get your PR if your relative is ready to sponsor you in Canada.

A relative in Manitoba can sponsor you only if he/she is of 18 years of age & above and a citizen of Canada or having a permanent resident visa for Canada. Note that the sponsor to an individual implies that you are ready to finance the candidate and his/her family members after they land in Canada. ‘Financing’ here means providing all necessity goods such as water, shelter, clothing and other social assistance.
