Manitoba Received 273 Letters Of Interest For The 136th Draw

The Manitoba government issued 273 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to MPNP candidates in the new 136th Manitoba PNP draws conducted on February 10th, 2022. Those who claimed to have a valid Express Entry ID as well as a valid job seeker validation code received an extra 68 LLAs. Manitoba's three immigration programs are Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas.

202 LAAs were given under the MPNP's Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The candidate with the lowest skilled worker score, a 615, was asked to participate. The Skilled Worker in Manitoba programme is open to foreign nationals with previous work experience in Manitoba who are presently employed in the province. Candidates must meet certain requirements in order to be considered for the new 136th.

The International Education Stream requires 40 letters of recommendation, and the minimal cut-off score for the stream has yet to be determined.

The MPNP, which received the lowest score of 705, conducted a methodical search for 31 talented people in other countries. This stream is for international and abroad foreign persons who have significant professional experience and strong links to Manitoba, such as a family member who resides in the area or past work experience.

The results of the most recent Manitoba PNP draw, which took place on February 10th, 2022, are summarised in the table below.

As one of the few province-supported programs in Canada, Manitoba's PNP depends entirely on public support. Candidates were eligible to submit Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas if they were individually invited by the MPNP through a Strategic Recruitment campaign and had valid IRCC Express Entry profiles. They will also earn 600 bonus points to increase their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and becoming a Canada PR. Most candidates claim they did not receive an Application Letter, even though they scored higher than the lowest-ranked competitor.

This might be because you said that you took an approved third-party language exam to authenticate your English/French language abilities, but you either did not give or did not include a legitimate Test. You stated that you were asked to apply to the MPNP as part of a Strategic Initiative, but your EOI either did not include a valid invitation number or it had expired. This is your chance to apply for Manitoba's Permanent Residence Program and become a permanent resident of Manitoba this year.
