This is to inform that the Canadian government issued
largest Express Entry draw invitations to 3,900 applicants on September 5, 2018
to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
This draw invited applicants with a minimum Comprehensive
Ranking System Score (CRS) 440- fourth all program draw in 2018.
The tie-break up rule was used to invite the applicants in
this draw of Express Entry. The tie-break up date and time was April 29, 2018,
at 14:28:34 UTC. This implies that all candidates who have submitted their
application before tie-up date and time having CRS 440 and above will receive
an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this invitation round.
The government of Canada issued 3900 invitations surpassing
its previous trend of inviting 3,750 applicants in the previous six draws held
since June 13, 2018.
In this year, IRCC has issued a specific number of ITAs over
a series of draws and has considerably increased the number of ITAs from 250 or
500. The draw size in the beginning of 2018 was 2,750 and has now come to 3,900
ITAs.
The constant pace of the ITAs could be the prime reason of
CRS score 440 being constant and not going higher. Larger draw sizes and more
regular draws can also have the effect of lowering CRS score.
Till now 18 draws have been conducted for the year 2018 in
which total of 58,600 ITAs have been issued, this is ahead of the 57,751 ITAs
issued over the first 18 draws of 2017. Though, IRCC is still lagging behind
with 5,177 ITAs as it issued 63,777 ITAs in September, 2017.
The ITAs were issued to 86,023 applicants in the year 2017. As
Canada is witnessing more number of migrants in 2018 and same has been expected
in 2019 making it quite possible to exceed the number of ITAs issued in 2017. Visit https://bit.ly/2NP7Vhu Source Link for more details.
