AINP Issued Draws For 250 NOIs In The Federal Express Entry Pool

Alberta has released the data for 250 NOIs for the January 5th, 2022 immigration draw, with the lowest-ranked candidate obtaining a 327 CRS score.

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) received 250 Notifications of Interest from Express Entry candidates who requested to be considered for a provincial nomination and had a CRS score of at least 327. Since the November draw, this score has climbed by one point, and after remaining consistent at 300 CRS points for several months, it currently swings from 300 to 351. The information on invites is published one month after the date of the draw.


Limitation on Nomination Certificates

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 6,250 nomination certificates to Alberta for the year 2021. The AINP will continue to review applications in the queue, but no new certifications will be granted until January 2022.

In the Alberta Express Entry pool, there are around 450 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 775 expressions of interest.

Volumes of Applications and Processing

Alberta operated a draw for Alberta PNP invitations for federal Express Entry candidates seeking a nomination certificate once a month. Alberta will be authorised to issue 6,250 letters of nomination of interest starting in January 2022. The AINP application is influenced by a variety of parameters, including:

• The number of applications received, and

• The application deadline.

The AINP gets a considerable number of applications and Alberta Express Entry submissions in the following occupations. Certain submissions may take longer to process than others.

6311 – Food service supervisors

6211 – Retail sales supervisors

7511 – Transport truck drivers

6322 – Cooks

3211 – Medical laboratory technologists

0211 – Engineering managers

1241 – Administrative assistants

1123 – Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations

2131 – Civil engineers

0621 – Retail and wholesale trade managers 

This Alberta PNP stream is no longer accepting applications. This industry/category includes the following applications:

Employer-Sponsored Stream:

•             Skilled worker category

•             International graduate category

•             Food and beverage processing industry

•             Manufacturing sector

•             Food services industry (pilot project)

•             Hotel and lodging industry

•             Long-haul trucking industry

 Strategic Recruitment Stream

• Engineering professions category 

• Post-graduate worker category 

You must complete the following steps in order to get the Notification of Interest (NOI):

1. You must have a CRS score of at least 300.

2. Keep your Express Entry profile active.

3. Contribute to Alberta's economic growth by taking up a career that helps the province flourish.

4. Demonstrate a desire to stay in the province and work for as long as feasible.

The criteria of the paper must be followed by the invited applicant. After completing the requisite documentation procedure, the persons are nominated by the government of Alberta to apply for permanent residency in Canada on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada website (IRCC).
