OINP Issues 622 Draws Under Human Capital Priorities Stream

Through two PNP draws, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) encouraged Express Entry individuals to apply for a provincial nomination.

Six hundred and twenty-two of the 828 invitations were sent to those who would be qualified for Ontario's Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. These applicants required to have an Express Entry profile with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 463 to 467. They also required to have worked for at least one year in one of the six tech vocations mentioned below by NOC code:

0213 Computer and information systems managers

2147 Computer engineers

2172 Database analysts and data administrators

2173 Software engineers and designers

2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers

2175 Web designers and developers

What is a CRS Score, exactly?

The CRS score is based on a number of factors such as age, level of education, work experience, language ability, and so on of the applicant immigrants.

On a regular basis, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) searches the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry pool for people who could be eligible for one of Ontario's Express Entry immigration streams.
