Manitoba opens new immigration pathway for international graduates

Career Employment pathway now one of 3 immigration options available to international graduates of post-secondary institutions in Manitoba

The Manitoba’s new immigration pathway is now open for international graduates of post-secondary institutions to eligible candidates for Expression of Interest.

This new ‘Career Employment Pathway’ allow those applicants who have graduated from a full-time program of at least one year in Manitoba to apply for this stream and may submit their Expression of Interest (EOI).

To apply for this stream, you must have:
  • A full-time job offer from an eligible current employer in an occupation that is in-demand in Manitoba OR
  • Completed a bridging program and passed the initial stage of certification as said by the relevant regulatory body.

The interested students may immediately apply for PR program provided you have taken education from Manitoba and must be living there in Manitoba as well.

The international students applying through Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) submits an expression of interest. The EOI asks a series of questions online that pertain to their education, work experience, language ability and adaptability factors. Profiles are ranked according to their score.

The selected applicants are then issued Letters of Advice to Apply for provincial nomination from the MPNP during regular draws.

The MPNP says it may put some occupation specific limits when issuing LAAs for the Career Employment Pathway. Visit Source Link https://bit.ly/2EaGaic for more details.
