OINP Issues New Invitations to Express Entry Candidates

This is to inform that Ontario has issued new invitations to apply for provincial nomination for permanent residence to Express Entry and skilled trades stream applicants on October 19, 2018. This draw issued most invitations through Skilled Trades Stream for the year 2018. The total number of invitations was 439 given to skilled trade’s stream.

The total number of Notifications of Interest (NOIs) issued through this stream reaches 1,445.

The Skill Trade Stream allows the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to come and live in the province on permanent basis. The selected candidate’s invites in this draw had minimum of one year full-time work experience or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in a skilled trade listed in Minor Group 633 or Major Group 72, 73 or 82 of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC).


 
The applicants applying for Ontario must also meet the stream’s provincial criteria that include getting a minimum proficiency CLB 5 in English or French language.

There is no minimum Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) requirement for this stream.
The selected candidates are entitled to receive 600 additional points towards their overall Comprehensive Ranking System score for increased nomination chances for Canadian Permanent Residence.

The applicants applying for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program under Express Entry must indicate their interest in immigration to either Ontario or “All Provinces and Territories” when creating their Express Entry profile.

The candidates who got invitations through Skilled Trades Stream created their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018 and October 19, 2018. Visit source link https://bit.ly/2D06U4n for more details.
